My name is Tomoya Ono. I am a Product Design student at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. I am an industrial designer and mechanical engineer. It is my goal to be hired by design consultancies and industrial companies because of my collaborative and industrial design skills.
I am a dot connector between design and engineering because I am educated in aerospace engineering and pursuing an industrial design degree. By combining my engineering insights and design thinking skills, I can create products that are not only technically feasible, but also visually aesthetic and user focused.
I have a passion for creating three dimensional prototypes to add realism and functionality to my concepts. By developing three dimensional prototypes, it helps me visualize the details, refine the usability and how my designs relate to the end user.
